Biography


Max was born in Jakarta in 1947 and lived in the Netherlands since 1958. During his studies at HTI and the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, where he met Ton Alberts as a teacher, he worked for several architectural firms. In 1975 he joined the architectural firm Ton Alberts. Together they designed the former NMB headquarters, later known as ING headquarters under the name Zandkasteel in South-East Amsterdam. In 1987 he became a partner of architect Ton Alberts and they formed Alberts & Van Huut International Architects. Ton died in 1999. Max has realized many special projects.
